Arrival in Katowice,  transfer to hotel. Check-in at the hotel. Guided tour of Zakopane. We’ll begin our walk from Krupówki Street, going first to the Museum of Zakopane Style, made popular by Stanislaw Witkiewicz. In the Zakopane style, Witkiewicz combined Art Nouveau with colourful folk traditions. Throughout all of Zakopane you can see a characteristic architectural connection with this style. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we’ll have free time in the centre of Zakopane. Next hill funicular to Gubałówka Hill. It is popular tourist attraction, offering breath-taking views of the Tatras and Zakopane as well. Transfer to hotel. Overnight.

Breakfast in the hotel. Optional sightseeing flight by hot-air balloon! (separate charge). For non-ballooning guests, we’ll take a short walk in the  beautiful Biały Valley nearby. Lunch at a local restaurant. Free time for shopping. Dinner at a local restaurant, with local delicacies. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Niedzica, where we’ll begin a white-water rafting adventure. The Dunajec River runs all through the southern part of the country. The river forms a 27 kilometre-long border between Poland and Slovakia, through the Pieniny Środkowe mountain range. The main attractions are the Trzy Korony (‘Three Crowns’) massif, the castles in Czorsztyn and Niedzica, and the Dunajec River Gorge, where we’ll be rafting. Lunch at a local restaurant. Our next visit will be to Czorsztyn Castle, which dates from the mid-1400s. We will see the interior and some other remnants from when this medieval castle was located on the shores of Czorstyńskie Lake. Small cruise on Czorstynskie Lake. Transfer to Zakopane. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Morskie Oko (the ‘Sea Eye’) and a small walk. This is the largest – and fourth deepest – lake in the Tatra Mountains. The lake is located between two high peaks in a valley. The lake’s quiet surroundings and graceful natural atmosphere have inspired many artists over the years. Lunch at the lake. Return to the hotel. Transfer to Bukowina, to the thermal springs there. These are the biggest thermal springs in Poland. After our active day at the lake, we’ll have time to rest in Bukowina’s hot, healing waters. Transfer to the hotel. Farewell dinner at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Airport. Flight home.
